there come a lot of great memories to our Norway travels with car and by cruise ship. Thanks for sharing! Here two pictures from my travels - Nussfjord on Lofotes, the smallest village with only 13 inhabitants. And the midnight sun at North cape.

I think there is a small mistake.
The houses around the harbor are fisherman houses, the small red houses so-called rorbue are now especially used as vacation houses. The inhabitants live some yards from the harbor in very well looking and larger wood houses. However as you said, there were not many residential houses.
