This interesting unit was going west this morning on NS 17N. I think it is Headed for the Illinois Rail Museum. It was Last classed as E33 by Conrail and PC but was built for the Virginian Railway in the 50's as EL-C class. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginian_EL-C
Charlie
CNR E10A Mogul #91.In 1957 my father worked on the Canadian National Railway and took my brother and I on a trip to Port Dover on this locomotive---a day I'll never forget
A rare visitor was recently spotted at the James St. roundhouse in Leetown.Central Vermont T3A #705 arrived during the night with a shipment of maple syrup from the eastern United States.Rumour is this locomotive may be a long term fixture in this area as she may require an overhaul at the EG&E shops in Port Maitland.
Charlie, that engine did infact make it to the IRM this week, I work with a guy that volunteers there most every weekend(David Hannel) , he confirmed it was there just today to me .
