Mt Hood RR
#1
Here are a pair of Mt Hood units I recently completed for the Mt Hood Model Engineers, a club I belong to.

First one is a good ol' Atlas "yellow box" RS11. I picked it up for only $25 from our local Mecca, The Hobby Smith. It had never been used and she will get used extensively now. Colors are Floquil and decals custom made by Rail Graphics.

This second one was an unused Atlas/Roco S2 donated to us. I still had one of the discontinued NCE decoders to install in this puppy. This is our new Clackamas Yard switcher and she will see lots of action in that location. Cheers

That's a nice pair of Alco's . And at 25$ for the RS-11, I'm jealous.

Here are some items I put together and painted fer the Mt Hood RR.

Well, first off, what would ACME be w/o it's best customer? Cheers

Next a Kato RS 2 which I numbered into our GP7 #s per GN Worship practice.

And last, every layout has gotta have a supply of butter courtesy of Champ decals and TMI. Cheers

From what I remember, Acme wouldn't want to be that close to their best customer. 357

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.
