Well I may not be fast but I'm slow. I finished the first siding this afternoon.
It took a bit to get back into the rhythm of handlaying again. I also had to change the spikes to the Micro Engineering ones as I have almost run out of railcraft spikes. The M-E spikes have a slightly larger head and are a tiny bit larger in diameter so I went from a #75 drill bit to pre-drill to a #73 to avoid bending the spikes.
I like how the sanded ties, hand spiked rail and the gray ballast look together.
