DL&W concrete bridge
#1
Took a small trip last Saturday with my son to check out an old DL&W bridge near our home. I don't know if the bridge has a name or is known by a mile marker # ,but a cool structure none the less. NJ transit has talked about reactivating the line for years now but no real work as of yet.
All of the pics were from the PA side of the Delaware river looking towards NJ.
I think the rail passing under the bridge is also DL&W, not sure maybe a Lackawanna fan could clarify this.

Here is a former DL&W station, reused for retail purposes.
I Also think this is a DL&W crossing .it's located just south of the water gap past the concrete bridge
We found some resting power near a cement plant near by.

That's correct trucklover, the concrete bridge is not in use. NJ transit had the bridge inspected about a year ago and found it to be in fair shape, only needing a few repairs.the smaller steal bridge is in service seeing light traffic.
