Hello Blue
No rain for us either. It all went around us. The lawn is starting to look stressed.
I saw one gas station this morning @ $2.65. The rest were a dime more.
I left for a haircut so didn't take extra money, couldn't buy gas as credit cards are ten cents a gallon more here. And yes they all charge more for a CC.

Hi gang.
I've been off on a vacation for a month and the computer I use won't log in to the Gauge so I've been lurking.
Last night there (Traverse City) we went to the Northern Michigan Railroad Historical society meeting. 3 interesting presentations.

Good morning all, here we are well into August, hard to realize how time goes by so fast anymore. Just a bit hot yesterday, but no records and no rain. Temps dip down closer to 100 for the next few days. Don't want to go near a car wash just yet, there is rain in the forecast, some say today, others tomorrow. No one knows for sure.
Where did Frank go? Last we heard, he had a full day with no sleep. Let's hope he finally got to bed.
Take care everyone and have a great weekend.....

Crazy last two days too. Real busy. So when I got home, TV and rest. Did get grass mowed and pickup serviced.
Off to bed.

Glad you're finally getting some bed time Frank. Not good going without sleep, especially for those of us that have been around the block a few times.
Don't know what today brings, like Frank, I'm tired and inclined to not to much of anything. Not sure if it rained last night, I see a few puddles in the gutters, but that could be from some neighbor's broken sprinkler system. Low temps today, but humidity is up, so you can't win. Some show rain for tomorrow, others show none. We'll see tomorrow what it does.

Morning crew. Hot but beautiful day. Cleaned Wifey's pong filter yesterday morning. Stopping back up already. Will have to redo today. Pain as such big pond. She refuses to use algicide as it will hurt her plants in there. Has two algae eaters but they are too small to handle that big pond.
Goofing off as nothing on agenda.
Buddy that owns Bar-b-q House down east had great report on heart cath. All wide open.
Later.

We nearly went to the Highland Games today. But they wanted $30 each at the senior's rate to get in and my Scottishness kicked in. So we came home, put everything back in the RV and took it to storage.

Hello Blue
James is just checking in.
Sun and 80s today. I feel sad that it's August already.
A birthday party for grandson today. No train news.

Back from Church. Cooler [high in the 80's]. Lower humidity.
Off to Edgecombe for some good pork bar-b-q and fried chicken. Taking a friend who wants to go.
Have a good week ahead.

Good morning all.
Uh Frank, if you have room, I'm always open to BBQ and fried chicken.... always... and both at the same time, it doesn't get any better than that!!!
Yesterday's forecast call for between 0 and 30% chance of rain. The 0 guys won, not a drop here while Tucson kinda got flooded. Same chance for today.

Must have been up north.
Morning all. Slept late. Egos and coffee. Watered some of Wifey's gardens. Soaker hosing front tomatoes. Sprinkled back garden after getting home yesterday. Low 90's today. Getting ready for County Commissioners' work session on local funding. Bet I'm the only Mayor there.

Greetings, gang.
Light rain, fog, and 71 in the remote reaches of northern Iowa this morning. High for today is supposed to be in the upper 70s.
Home from my latest trip. Grandson has been returned to his mom in one piece. His hockey team did very well over the weekend. Only team that went undefeated. He even got to score a goal on a penalty shot. He normally plays defense and seldom has a chance to score. This trip was about 750 miles which brings my one month total to about 4500 miles. I'm not leaving the house for a month. Really tried from all the travel.
All stay safe.

Good morning all, hope this week is a good one for you.
Yeah Jim, don't know where they come from, but drivers here aren't what they used to be. As for cashiers, there are those that like their jobs and those that act like they're doing you a favor showing up for work. Those things show up more when you go from a small town to a big city, we noticed that when we lived in Wickenburg and moved back to the Phoenix area....
Temps are on the rise, no rain in the forecast for a while, but that can change quickly.
