For something different…

”Racing a VIA F40 between St-Hyacinthe and Drummondville”.



On my drive from Montreal to Quebec City I ran into (or more correctly “parallel to”) an eastbound VIA rail passenger train. It consit of a F40PH-2D loco
that looks like it was fresh out of the shop, 2 LRC car and 2 bud stainless cars. I caught up with it at St-Hyacinthe which contrary to the norm it
did not stop and kept going. However I managed to snap a few, blurry, pictures.

The vintage point wasn’t the best block by freight cars on the other side of the station. Barely had time to take a few pictures when I heard it coming!

Of course I just kept my finger on the trigger……..
