I'm on a pc with fiber optic cable internet so I don't know about Mac or Linux, just quoting the web site. I'm glad to hear it downloaded for you. One thing I like about Model Railroad Hobbyist already is that they are thinking about their customer base (us). With Winding Road Magazine, when I want to read it, I need to click view "full screen" to get the printing big enough for me to read and then the pages are wider than the computer screen so I have to scroll back and forth to read the mag. I also recommended Winding Road to another gear head who was on dial up. He emailed back that after waiting an hour for it to load, he gave up on the magazine. He subscribes to most of the hot rod and Chevy muscle car type mags. He just wasn't interested in jumping through Winding Road's hoops to read another car mag.
