To be honest , I'm going to say that our work with Mr.Stewart was more of the minor variety .....he came to us well after his layout was pretty much together ...we added some neat details though .
The 31,000 seats were supplied by the customer who , I believe ,contracted to an unknown company from an unknown country
( hows that for diplomacy ) ....they were inconsistant in quality ( warpage ) and took about twice as long to install as I had thought . We plan to go in a different direction with the seats on Polo Grounds . In fact , we have learned many hard lessons that we hope to correct next time around .
The infield is about half done , the three remaining field light towers are built , the roadway beside the park ( you can see the road frame in the newspaper picture to the left of the park ) is well under way .....and a few other odds and ends . As word has spread , we get a lot of visitors .....it's nice to get the attention , but it slows down work . But I'm not complaining , it's been quite a ride so far .
