Gee, I remember both the Crosley car and the portable radio. I had one (the radio) when I was a teenager.
I've been looking for an A/V to USB cable to be able to digitize both music and video. I know Fry's has them for about $20, I'm just waiting until I can get by there one of these days. I have a lot of VCR and music tapes that I need to convert before the VCR and tape player both disappear like the dodo bird.
And yeah, I did have some 8 tracks a long time ago, but then again we still have a collection of 78's and 33 1/3 records and a player to play them on. Never got into 45's though.
