Another location in the LA area is the rat hole. It has had a lot of rail served industry too and might be of interest.

Another side effect are the older buildings on the photos of the rat nest that might be used as a reference for Vernon buildings before the "white shoe boxes" toke over. I think Russ and Harald may have a look at them.
