Excellent modeling, Tyson Here in arizona, there were quite a few 18" or 20" mine trams, with either electric or battery powered locos (or compressed air or fireless steamers). The hobby shop down the road has a nice diorama of a mine adit, ore cars, and an ore tipple for loading onto 3ft gauge - all in O scale.
I considered a small On3 project for the sake of something different. I wanted to try my hand at a Grandt Line porter and converting some Bachmannn On30 to On3. I also considered an HOn30 project or an N scale project of building a small tabletop layout.
But, remembering back, that is how I got into HOn3. And I still have at least two dozen unfinished projects on my bench, and a layout that doesn't have all it's track layed I think I need to be disciplined right now and finish what I started!
