The fact that nobody has talked about New Years ...less than 2 days ....kinda gives me my answer already 
I haven't "partied" since about 1990 something .....stay up ( yawn ) until midnight , go out on the deck to get some fresh air .......then go to bed ! Used to watch Dick Clark , may he rest in peace . The other shows are , well , too noisy
Even the neighborhood is pretty quiet .Quiet is good
