.........It's been a parsec's walk since I last viewed that movie.
(( for the uninitiated, a Parsec is a measure of distance, equal to 3 light years [ source: the Lensman series by E.E. "Doc" Smith ] ))
I guess it's about time to watch it again.

Here's another E.E. Smith fan. Just finished re-reading the Lensman and the Skylark series. Fun books to read.

The first I heard of the Lensman was the comic books
I built the model (Japenese Issue) of that long blue ship..
Not a bad comic book (and movies)...
And I looked and they are on youtube too!!!!

Thanks for the tip, Mikey. I had no idea there were movies.

Did any of us qualify for second stage lensman?
(Thread Hijacked!) (Is there a smily for that?)

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.

I barely qualify as a Zabriskan Fontema (if I recall correctly).

Boy and I thought my Galaxy Quest post took this thread on a wayward journey, but this beats even that.
Lensman, I thought that was a photographer's assistant. :?
Zabriskan Fontema, I thought that was what they used to smooth out ice hockey rinks.
and Doc Smith, wasn't he that guy on the
Gunsmoke TV show???? :o
Now, long blue ships just might fit in here, and could keep this thread on topic.
