Thanks Val for encouragement, definately no hurry although I do get a bit bored through these long builds. Icon_lol

Here's an update on the sawmill , I still have to place the junk pieces next to the sawmill, paint some people, I've just started on a jordan 1922 Stake Bed truck that will be backed up to the mill floor entrance, need some logs, a sawdust pile, the road has to be detailed a bit more, wood strewn around, I'm also thinking of buiding a sawdust burner kit I have.

Lynn, well done, nice work.
I'm doing N scale but like to have a peek in the HO scale subforum with so talented modelers.
Everything on your layout looks so carefully made , from the workbench to the structure details.

You are right on the money as usual Lynn. magic work, and of course with all the detailing still to come it is sure going to burst into life. Cheers

I was wondering .... have you left the roof so it can come off?
I see in the last photo it's off, and you have a fair bit of detail inside which would obviously be hidden if the roof was fixed.
Hope you have fingered out how that truck goes together, and it appears soon with all the right bits stuck together in the right place. Big Grin

Thanks Ralph, Josh and Jack.
Jack the roof will be left removeable just because. I'm slowly now working on the truck but once again no hurry. last nite I placed the sawmill in place n the layout and sealed it down and siliconed the edge of the base to seal the river bottom. I figure whats left to do on it can now be accomplished while it is in place. I did manage to drill a hole through its base and run a lite and wires for interior liting.
Once again I've grown tired of working on something and want to move on to get the river done so I can get the darn bridge put back in, afterall can't make any money with the trains sitting idle. Icon_lol

After alot of work with wedges and big crow bar and level finally got the river bottom leveled ( could have swore I checked the river for level before) I checked the levelness by pouring water in the river and got acceptable results.Scenery for banks also pretty much done, I'll add msc bushes and trees later. Also got the sawmill put in place and most of ground work put in or at least enough so I could prefare the river to be poured.
