A viewing test...

Evidently, some folks, especially those on dial-up, are having trouble viewing pictures on Big Blue. Below are four photos from various sources - if there are any that you can't see, please answer here to let me know which ones and if you're on dial-up.

The first one is from photobucket:

This one is a thumbnail from photobucket:

One from our own Gallery:

And finally, an attachment:

Thanks for your input. Goldth

I've just discovered that viewers who are not logged-in to Big Blue can't see the photo linked from our own Gallery - it's replaced by a number, which, when clicked-on, shows a white area with a timer icon. I let it run for a couple of minutes, but no picture appeared, nor did it time-out. I'm on a high speed connection.

I see all 4 with cable.

I was going to comment that those all look like locos at IRM, until I saw that bottom line in the post

I am on cable. I can see them all, but if I click on the third one to enlarge it, the enlargement is smaller?

I can see them all Wayne but the first larger one hesitates a bit as I go up and down the page on DSL. I've noticed in other threads that sometimes some of your larger pics load slowly even on DSL for me.

I'm on wireless broadband (Rural) and it works fine for me. Some times I have problems on pic intensive pages, but not much.

I'm with Nomad. I'm on highspeed broadband, (aka cable) and when I click on the third one, it gets smaller. Might have something to do with default sizing?? (I don't know whose default it is, but I was on the other side of town, so you can't pin it on me!!) (Maybe I shouldn't watch so many crime solving programs on TV.) Big Grin Goldth Goldth Eek

When I post from our Gallery, I click on the "imagename", then "COPY" the photo's BB code, "PASTING" it into the post. If you look in My Gallery, you'll find that clicking on the image gives you a small photo (larger than the thumbnail) while clicking on the "imagename" (Baldwin DT-6-6-2000 centercab diesel) yields a larger view.
