Ok I've come to my senses and decided that I'm going to continue with these and forget the mth models because if things need to be modified or added then there's the issue of matching paint colors and I don't want that headache. However I'm still going to give it an alcohol bath and start over because I'm going to give the Cannon radiator grilles a try along with a few other details, also the white stripe is a little spotty in some areas and I want to get a closer match to the green paint.

I stripped the paint off my finished NYA gp38 and got the cannon & co radiator grilles in the mail. I have 2 atlas models that I wanted to use the cannon grilles but they are much longer than the ones molded to the body. Has anyone replaced the grilles on an atlas model with the cannon ones? What did you do to make them fit?
