Currently it would be a diorama only, at some future point to be incorporated into a layout
(with occasional operations connecting the various dioramas together with unitrack)
as for the returns, both `empties' and `fulls' would remain hidden for the return trips to the cane-fields (so basically 2 separate ovals, with 2 identical trains- one full and one empty) so that empties are always only seen heading out from the mill and fulls only ever seen heading in towards the mill (it only requires the two tracks behind the backdrop or alternatively once the layout is actually built they could be run under it instead)
