It might sound corny, but I've started thanking people who fly the flag on their lawns or homes whenever I'm in uniform. Just to let them know that at least one person who is still serving really appreciates their actions and patriotism.

If it was me that was flying the Flag and I was "thanked" - I'll tell you right now I would get a tear in my eye, Thank you for all you do and you can be sure that I'd tell everyone I know that;

"A serviceman thanked me for flying the Flag"

So your "good intentions" would make a LOT of people proud!!!!... Just as your continued service to Our Country, continues to make us proud!!! ~~~ Thanks!!!!!
