I second all of the above...Except...

If it's progress you want, you gotta go with the LC&P... 357

Thanks Charlie, in fact thanks everyone. I just wish there was some way I could personally show it to all of you. If anyone of you find your selves passing through Delaware give me a heads up. I don't think you can enter this huge state with out being within about 60 miles of me.

OK now we left the local at the end of the run, now we need to head back. This is when the team track would be taken care of if needed. Today it is left alone and I didn’t think to get a photo of it. So now we will pull away from the train and go through a cross over so we can pass our train and get the other end

Having arrived at the other end we go through another crossover and couple to the train again

Now we start the return trip by getting onto the correct track so we don’t have any surprise meetings. Also that 1756 box car is a Big Blue, Gauge car.

and we are on the way. Our first stop will be at the Barboursville station. Here we will uncouple the train from the caboose.

We will be going passed the station a few hundred yards to a switch, after clearing it our brakeman sets it for us to go onto siding.

We are going to get a PRR box car from Jones transfer and spot a NKP box car that is already here.

At this time only one car can be there at a time. The loading platform has been enlarged and awaiting track. We will also be dropping a couple more cars to be spotted later.

We now come out of the siding and get our train. make all of the safety checks, 2 short blasts on the whistle and we are on the way again.

Her we are going past J.E.L. Minerals mine # 37. This photo and the next one are taken from a hill top.

Now we go through a short tunnel.

Come out the other side and cross Big Ugly river.

Come around the North side of the town of Big Ugly and we are now approaching our next and last stop.

Uncouple the caboose.

going past Big Ugly whistle stop. This is also where passengers can make a connection with J&M railroad which you can see behind the shelter, To be toured at a later date.

Now we are hooking up to some cars on J&M. Some of these we will take with us some will remain and we will leave some.

After all of the switching is finished we are now going back after the rest of our train

Get hooked up check everything and lets go home.

Now we are back where we started. The end of a long trick.

Fantastic! Thanks for the tour, you have a beautiful layout! I like how you worked your local, or "turn", just like the prototype, very well done.

I can't believe I even noticed this but it must be the rail in me, I noticed the engineer is running tender first, should be 3 short blasts on the whistle. Goldth I know, I know, I have too much time on my hands... Icon_lol
