Ha! Looks like I met all my MRR Resolutions from last year.

This year,

Complete trackwork for "mainland". Almost done...two more T.O.'s to build and then pretty much home free.
Complete wharf construction and trackwork. Began plotting measuring and marking plywood frame for Wharf.
Complete Howe Truss Bridge build. eeep...this one is going to take a while.
Complete Engine Servicing facility. May, may not get tbis one done...we'll see.

I guess my resoltions are to work through my "CVR To Do" list.

Let's see....

4 turnouts to replace.

2 locos to bash into one.

10 locos to put decoders in.

Couplers and weight to check on 35 pieces of rolling stock. (and counting)

An 18cm high by 62cm long trestle to build.

About 30 structures to build. (so far)

Scenery to do on a 5.3sq metre layout.

That should keep me busy for awhile. Big Grin

My MRR Resolutions for 2010 are:

1- Finish the two locomotive rebuilds I have left to do.
2- Install Tsunami sound decoders in the two rebuilds as well as my Proto Heritage 0-6-0.
3-Get some sort of layout started. This should be #1 on the list but I fugure having all my locomotives ready to go will spur me on even more to get a track plan drawn up that I am finally happy with.
4-Build at least half of the 14 Kanamodel structure kits I have collected. Most of all my recent ebay purchase of a CNR Brandon Bunker coal tower kit.
5-Build my Diamond Scale Turntable kit.
6-Get at least half of the 90 freight and passenger car kits I have built, painted and decaled. Goldth

All that should keep me real busy for the next 12 months. Smile My wife says this is the year I need to get off my butt and finally do something with all my stuff I have collected in my quest to model the CNR circa 1956-58. Eek Either that or get a new hobby. It is a good thing I have not told her about all the True Line Trains CNR reefers I reserved. Big Grin

I have no worries. Smile The odds of my wife ever visiting or surfing a Model RR forum are zero. The only interest she has in trains is how much I spend and if it is doing a good job of keeping me busy. Eek Most importantly is the busy part since I have been diagnosed with problems with my spine and have been ordered not to work. Sad The good news is I have no excuse when it comes to getting some model railroading done. Big Grin

Happy New Year Everyone
