The New Layout

Looks like a great start. I have one question though, is that industry spur you mention on the last pic on a grade?

The lead will start on the grade but the industry itself will be in the back corner on level ground.

Ok well it has been a really long time since I put anything on here. Lets see finished a bit more benchwork, Finished the backdrop mounting.Just waiting to sand it and paint it. Other than that i have just been decaling a small fleet of engines and Cabeese. With 20 or so box cars waiting as well :?

The engine is just waiting for weathering, the caboose needs a coat of dullcoat and some weathering. And 6 more of the engines should be dullcoated by Sunday

So here is a few pictures

Nice work. What's best - eventually you can run long trains showing off the hard work on the layout!

I like the variation in the lettering - realistic.
Fan of late and early Conrail... also 40s-50s PRR, 70s ATSF, BN and SP, 70s-80s eastern CN, pre-merger-era UP, heavy electric operations in general, dieselized narrow gauge, era 3/4 DB and DR, EFVM and Brazilian railroads in general... too many to list!
