I had to row a boat 10 miles uphill through snow without oars in July! Wusses!!! And I had to go to Catholic School! I still can't look at penguins without shuddering.

You got me on the nuns. My wife spent 12 years in Catholic school and she had the red marks on her hands to prove it.

Here's a blast from the past...a word processor. My friend Jon's mom had one. It was a typewriter with an LCD screen that could take in one line at a time. You hit enter and it typed your sentence out.

We had a typewriter like that, the predecessor to the word processor. But now we're talking some 20-25 years ago, not what you'd call ancient, like me and Lynn..

I laughed out loud when I read this. Brings back memories. I probably won't sleep well tonight!

upon the steps, why it was impossible for the older generation
to understand his generation. "You grew up in a different world,
actually, an almost primitive one" the student said loud enough
for others to hear. "The young people of today grew up with

moon. We have nuclear energy, ships and cell phones,
computers with light speed........and many more.
After a brief silence, the senior citizen responded as follows.
"You're3 right son, We didn't have those things when we were
young......so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little sh*t,
what are you doing for the next generation?

Try 30 years ago for that word processor. It was just like you said, a typewriter with a little LCD screen window. I had a Casio calculator/watch with a touch pad (The iPad had it's forerunners 30 years ago. I'm not that young. I just have the mind of a 15 year old.

So I join a local gym in an effort to lose 35 pounds .....I WILL lose 35 pounds .......and I noticed that people are texting while on the gym equipment . Are you kidding me ??? What are they telling the cyber world ?

" My left testicle hurts ! "

" The sweat is running down my butt crack "

" The chick in the pink outfit looks really hot ..., no , wait , it's a guy ".

" I just moved my left foot , now my right foot "

Amazing but true .

We just dumped verizon because we have only been using 10 to 15 minutes a month of our 450 so we got 2 tracfones that tripple the minutes bought for life.
I will not be texting or doing email even though they can, my fingers just aren't that small, however I do like having wifi , a camera, and an MP3 player all in one. I have had mine for 12 days and used 4 minutes. If you use the wifi you can check your email with it, but I don't think I could send more than 2 or 3 words for a reply.
