Greetings, gang.
Sunny and quite cool this morning. Right now it's 54 headed for 77 later this afternoon.
Quiet day yesterday. Picked up some groceries from a couple of stores and goofed off the rest of the day. Today I need to gas up the car and get a new filter for the furnace.
When we moved to this house there was a crab apple tree in the corner of the lot. After a few years of fall messes and flies I took it down. Flash forward a couple of years and younger daughter brings home a tree from school for Arbor Day. I planted the stick in the back yard, figuring that it would die off much like the previous three we had planted for the other kids. Oh, no. The stupid thing actually grew. Yep, another crab apple tree. Finally took it down about 4 years ago. We did save a couple of the bigger branches to make trivets for the daughter.
