Ok before I do the next two I have to give a little history. The "Royal Gorge" started life as a subsidiary of D&RGW, and had the following speed leter paint scheme (I havn't done any of these yet, but think a couple of tunnel motors are next Misngth )

In 1985 the RG&S became "employee owned" and had the previous solid orange scheme.

and finally, in 1995 the RG&S merged with the Knasas Pacific and hade the orange, silver, and black scheme. Both railroads keep their names but operate as one.

Here is a KP GP38-2 still in pre-merger paint. (this one was built by the owner of the KP)

First off...that's one good looking diesel service center. Which goes nicely with all those good looking engines! I like the "rebuilts"...so many railroads do that kind of thing anyway...makes sense to do it on your own line.

Hi Jim,

Great roster Thumbsup love the E6 line up Big Grin the locos on the layout with the fuel station look superb wish i had thee space for something similar. any chance of a pic of the fuel area close up ?
