and where it is on the model - the "floor" of the entrance foyer
Some fan blades = one in the Jig - the other to show what it looks like after i trim it to size ( 5" wide)
It's going together now! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
The Bricks are starting to go up....
The fan is getting more blades attached.. Does anyone else see a "potential" problem here????
There will be 10 blades around the "hub"... I put a bead of glue along both sides of both suppports, the same as is used on model rocket's fins.

Is this enough support for the fan blades??? i think it is - since the blades only weigh about 4 oz. each.
Yes, "times 10" equals 40 oz. Almost 3 pounds! Plus the Hub weighs about 1/2 pound... Eek
It's DONE!!!!! The fan - that is!!!!! Smile Smile Smile
After a bunch of desigining and re-building and gluing, here it is Smile i couldn't even wait for it to dry....
Got the "power supply for it too Smile 2 RPM Motor Smile
even "rigged" a pulley for the motor Smile Matches the brass pulley on the fan above
For refrence Smile I installed the fan, now I can start the chimney Smile The prototype:
