biL,
If I'm remembering it correctly several of the South Jersey shortlines were having a problem with horn thefts in the early 2000's. This unit had an attempt at taking the horn but were unsuccessful but they broke some windows in their efforts.

They're still Brain-Dead Morons with no respect for the property of others ... if they want it, they just take it! Or they destroy it, "Just for fun!"
Does no one teach these kids about morals or respect or the law?
I had the whole $1200.00 competition exhaust set up stolen off my "dead red" Ford Festiva one night at it sat sleeping in my driveway a couple of years back. What a rude awakening the next morning when I started the car to go to work!
hock:
And of course, I got stopped several times on the 25 mile drive to work and again several times on my way home, every day, and had to show the police report to duck a several hundred dollar fine each time. I ordered a new system by phone the first day. Yellow Freight took two weeks to deliver the new system ... I
welded it on the afternoon it arrived!

One never knows what might show up on the CF&E..
Photographed these two R J Corman/RailPower GG-20B locomotives on Corman's Versailles, KY line today. These are diesel/battery powered hybrid locomotives with one Cat 300 hp diesel/generator set, but otherwise battery powered locomotives that are supposed to develop 2000hp. Corman purchased RailPower a couple of years ago, but has yet to build or sale any of the locomotive designs offered by RailPower. Here we have front and rear views of RJC 2406 in the official Corman paint

Will no doubt get the RJC paint job in the near future and if no buyer or lessor found, it will end up on one of Corman's operations. Note the missing rear headlight on the RSSX unit.[
