Thanks guys, the roof is on.Now for the details and a better camera angle

I'm thinking "D.DAY Custom Cabinets" though probably in white.
Don't know if this qualifies as a better camera angle ,but here goes.

and this is a start on the factory across the street. Not really happy with the way this one is going but I still have time to change my mind.

I changed my mind (several times). Not done yet needs a paved lot in front of the shipping doors and some ground cover, and of course the doors and a sign.

Don't forget the winos in the alley ! Thumbsup
Almost done

Got some more scene details done. The clouds in the picture are my clumsy attempt to draw them in Corel Draw.

Looking good Catt ! Cheers
To all who model in "N" scale....that is right on the border of "impossible" Big Grin Big Grin
Nicely done Catt !

I'll ask the dumb question of the month now, Icon_twisted Icon_twisted What is a "Cater", and why does it need a "Pillar" :?: :o Icon_twisted 357 357
Wow! Check this out. I'm actually working on the N scale home layout. Eek I've started to rework downtown Bel-Aire by adding another street and discovering that I need more N scale stores. Here is the first progress pic. ( by the way the LPBs are acting just like normal Michigan citizens and are complaining about the roadwork. Wallbang )

These have been posted before, but I thought I would post pics of the finished buildings and since they are all on the same street I would put the three in one post.First up is Kindel Furniture a real company in my hometown (looks nothing like this though).Building is kitbashed from Walthers Hardwood Furniture kit.

Next up is Kellett Transfer & Storage named after my friend John Kellett from Saginaw,MI.Kellett's is a total scratchbuilt.

Third is Fowler Fine Furniture a kit bash using Geo.Roberts Printing and Varieity Printing.Origonal bash was done in 1998 ,rebashed in 2001 then one more time (right now).I may actually get it done this time.

That red building at the top of page 10 - to better visualize what I was talking about in the scratchbuild thread - imagine instead of where they are, the dock doors would be on the wall to the left of the truck you have parked there. And the paved parking area not much wider than you already have it. THAT was how crazy that place was I saw. Surely cursed by every driver who has to make a delivery there.

--Randy
Randy, way back in the day one of the jobber shops I made deliveries to and picked up from had a 1/3 circle dock. There were times when you could not get out of your truck cab while at the dock.My boss could not figure out why I hated going there till one day he did a ride along.Once our contract was up we moved to a different jobber.
