Thanks, Jez.
Today had been track laying on the plan.
On the right side the main will descend to the hidden yard level. It's a 3.5% grade.
First train testing the work.
Let's see what happend to the rest of this still empty segment.
See you later.
This weekend I've done very little. The route to the staging yard is so far built and it's walls are covered with plastic sheets molded as a concrete wall.
Now I have to build the rest on this segment, before I can go on with the catenary masts.
Great progress so far!!
I really like the plan and the attention to detail in the trackwork, it really is paying off.
Sure makes me want to get back to working on a ayout...
Keep us posted on your progress and keep up the great work.
Hi Jörg,
It looks very good from what you build there.
I look forward to further steps.
Sven
Nice work
Thanks.
I've taken a few days off and will use this time to build all the tracks on the existing segments. I will not be quite ready, because right on time the cork tiles are out. And new material will be hard to get.
building a curved turout
Today the first to be complete is the main line.
With a grain extra of the Illinois Terminal the line was opened.
It's great to see a layout develop from bare walls to trains running...
You're doing a wonderful job...!!
That looks great. I am always impressed by such handled track work.
I would like to repeat: Looks great!
And I wish you trouble-free rolling about this track segments!
looks great!!!!!
Joerg:
Do you have any rejects of the crossing? An odd set like that should have a couple of replacements sitting around in case of problems.
So, and almost as the end of this week's holiday a little test drive video of the intersection.

And then this picture of the intersection.
Had to see how it looks finished :
have a nice day.
