Thank you all. With so much recognition makes it even more fun.

On a tip in another forum I replaced the background image in the doorway:



So far, the image stuck behind the 5mm deep side walls.

Now I have built a second box with 16mm deep.

Now it sticks the picture.





Is hard to photograph but it now look, though only temporarily glued, much better.

next step :

The roof of the ramp is the next to build. I built them entirely from 1mm Bristol board.











Later, when the first floor is fitted, of course, the steel bars have to be planted that hold the roofs in the prototype.

Next step will be the small details such as gutters, power cables, lamps, etc.

Today I could continue building a little bit.

The upper floors are covered with trapezoidal sheet, which will be painted pale blue-gray. The current top is the window of the second Floor. Then follows a roof top.





The reason that on the second picture it looks like something goes wrong it is because of the missing stability. It will first comes with partitions when all the floors are finished.

Currently, I am seeking more pictures of office walls that I can stick behind the windows for a little get to live behind the windows. With 16mm depth there is not much to do with facility. Here and there one figure has just enough room.

A Google image search for Office Interior images will bring up a lot of modern stuff

Mainly I'm looking for some pictures of a back wall with an filing shelf.

Such kind as it is used in normal offices on a plant.

Perhaps with a door inside that back wall.

I don't think that you can see more through the windows.

I found a very little at Google but mostly with a with a non-usable perspective.

Another question in that context.

In Germany many offices, even on plants, are decorated with flowers, especially on the window sill.

Is it the same in your offices ?

So, done!

The left side of the building is rough construction completed.



Of course, now some Evergreen strips go out I have to reorder them.
But I can still install some stiffeners and office partitions and of course the window.
So plenty of work remains until delivery.

I've also tried with the office backgrounds. Some I've now found that fit well from the perspective.



As I wrote, I will place some Preiserlein between wall and window too.

Joerg, that is going to be a great building. The office background behind the large windows is a nice feature.
Do you have a local source for Evergreen or will you try to order them in the xmas rush?

Joerg, sorry - I replied to your question about the flowers, but the software seems to have thrown my reply away. The only thing on the windowsills in the office I worked in were stacks of files and paper - Most of the time the venetian blinds were down and the fluorescent lighting was on. Some of the workers used the "Flat Surface Filing System" - If there is a flat surface with an empty space, put a stack of files on it! Your view through the windows looks good

a little Update:

I made a draft for etched parts for a #6 frog.
Building a turnout should be even easier.


The parts will be simply soldered onto each other with the help of the centerings on the ends.

From a friend I've let milling for the factory's window frames.


I had tried that with Evergreen strips by hand. But even minimally oblique struts fell on strong. Likewise measurement difference from a half millimeter.
