These are a few photos of the Prescott and Eastern's newest locomotive.
It is a freelance locomotive built from an MDC 2-8-0 chassis, an AHM Casey Jones boiler and cab with an Aristocraft tender.
That's a real fine looking loco, Ray. How does it run?
Any motor re-working on this one?
It's good to see your still building engines.
Cool stuff.
Christopher
Thanks guys.

Exceptional kitbashing Ray, I would expect nothing less than brilliance from you. By george, you've done it again!
That's real nice looking! I especially like the roof on the cab!

Very nice work. Wasn't it the El Paso and Southwestern that had cabs like that?
Nice. I always get a kick out of the level of creativity comes from the people who enjoy this hobby. Very economical too, you just recycled an old engine and made it new again.
Thanks again everyone.
This locomotive project began as one of Jim's hand me down locomotives.

I've seen this style cab roof on alot of the late 1800/early1900 locos . I'm not sure what the purpose was, maybe to venelate the cab or for iluminating the cab.
Nice job on your kitbash, Ray,
and a nice touch using the spoked pilot wheels, too. The CNR was also very big on them, and used them on a lot of their locos.

Excellent work Ray - you are a very talented modeller!!!
Val
Totally typical of what we can expect from you Ray, an impressive and unique model to say the least. Thanks for sharing it with us, the Col. should be proud.
Bee-u-tee-ful! Fine work as usual, Ray!
