These are a few photos of the Prescott and Eastern's newest locomotive.
It is a freelance locomotive built from an MDC 2-8-0 chassis, an AHM Casey Jones boiler and cab with an Aristocraft tender.

Oh Wow, oh Wow! Isn't that the most beautiful loco you ever saw? What a fantastic job Ray did on that thing. Oh man. Not sure I would have stuck that name on her though!

Nice. I always get a kick out of the level of creativity comes from the people who enjoy this hobby. Very economical too, you just recycled an old engine and made it new again.

This locomotive project began as one of Jim's hand me down locomotives. nachoman Wrote:Wasn't it the El Paso and Southwestern that had cabs like that?I've seen this style cab roof on alot of the late 1800/early1900 locos . I'm not sure what the purpose was, maybe to venelate the cab or for iluminating the cab.

Nice job on your kitbash, Ray,
and a nice touch using the spoked pilot wheels, too. The CNR was also very big on them, and used them on a lot of their locos.Wayne
