I want to give hand laying turnouts a try and was wondering where I could find templates for them. Also are PC board ties available or do I have to cut them my self? I have never tried this before so I'm new at it.

While I was In the back yard the other day covering up the A.C. compressor when I found this bug. It was just standing on the foundation wall, watching me do some yard work when I noticed it. I have never come across one like it before and was wondering if any one else knows what it is.    

I am a new modeler and it's the first time I've been to this site. I need help navigating. I'm beginning with a Ashland Blast Furnace.
Can someone direct me to a construction thread to assist me in the assembly?

Bachmann has a brand new 30" gauge 2-6-6-2 in On30. Saw it running at Ihobby. It's a beaut!!!!!! It is a model of a Baldwin, built for South America.

The Ihobby Expo is on at the Stephens convention center in Rosemont Il., open to the public Saturday 10/24/09 and Sunday 10/25/09, 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM.
I'll be at the GCLaser booth ( 1835 ) both days.
