Fear not Pete, I can't drive on snow and ice either, but I have no intentions of going anywhere near where I'd have to. Nope The last time I was driving on snow, I wound up getting pushed out of a snow bank. :o That was up in Prescott well over 20 years ago. Why anyone would actually want to drive in that stuff leaves much to wonder about. :?

After living in Wisconsin for 10+ years, we didn't have much choice....Snow drifts that reach the roof of the house and below zero temps were just a way of life... From October to March. Worse part is...I'd do it all again if I had to... 357

Morning all. Sunny and warmer. BTW: no one can drive on ice and frozen snow. Slick is slick. The funny is folks from up north move here and think they can fly on snow. Here, we have wet snow that freezes on highways. Then it is SLICK. They learn.

Where is RB? I enjoyed his post and the pictures he posted. Haven't seen any post from him since before Christmas. Hope he is doing OK.

RB passed away just before Christmas. I know we all miss him.
Happens to me still...When I go to the Camp Fire it's with the intent of seeing what RB is up to.
Then I remember...

Good Morning Blue
Sun @ 6 degrees. Gonna stay cold all day.
It's 40 degrees in our attached garage so I unplugged the small fridge and just cracked the door open.
No train news today except our club meet tonight. I will not attend as I have a congestive cough and I don't want to have someone get it from me.

Greetings, gang.

Partly cloudy and 12 degrees outside my window this morning. High for today is supposed to be in the upper teens.

Yesterday I got all the laundry caught up and finished replaces the screen material on two of the screens for the porch. Today I need to continue working on the screens. Not much else planned for today.

RT- really enjoyed the cartoons.

All stay safe.

Oh my God. I didn't know. May God hold RB in the palm of his hands.

Good morning all. Here we are halfway through the weekend and I can't tell if I'm having fun yet. The forecast for yesterday called for a 10% chance of rain. Well, we did get a few sprinkles in our area, I guess it really only rained 5%. I'm not sure that's what they meant, but still, could we really say that it rained out when the driveway barely got wet? Not really, so I'll give it 5% for effort. There should be a better chance later today. They say 40-50% meaning that there had better be some puddles around.
