No problems here lately with this site, but some other places are slow: when I can type or click faster than a site can respond, it's gotta be slow.

Well this is what I get when I try to load the Gauge.....
"This page can’t be displayed •Make sure the web address http://www.the-gauge.net is correct. •Look for the page with your search engine. •Refresh the page in a few minutes." Some times it takes a few tries before I can open up the page. Fix connection problems

Just a guess from one who's pretty-well computer illiterate, but would it help if you used the address bigbluetrains.com, as in the logo at the top of this page, rather than the-gauge.net?

I'm not sure why people are getting these timeout messages, but we us GoDaddy as a server and I guess it can become really busy at times. I've seen slow access occasionally, but it's been a long time since I've seen a timeout. Let's face it, this is the Internet and it surprises me at times that it works at all. :o Problems with servers, ISP's, or just 10,000,000 people trying to download the latest Netflex movie at the same time can jam up the pipeline. ![]() What I'm saying is that, if we go down, we can fix it, if we are slow, there's not much we can do but have patience. ![]()
