With the exception of the last two days the weather this autumn in my hometown has been beautiful with lots of warm sunny days.During a walk in the garden last Friday I spotted this Monarch butterfly sunning itself in preparation for it's flight to the south---hopefully it left before the latest rain and colder temperatures arrived.

Here's a shot of the only McDonald's in the world where their arches are teal rather than yellow. This is in Sedona, Arizona and they offered McD two options, either design the building so it fit into the city decor, or go somewhere else to build...
