Well, the first "Test" print didn't do so well.
The challenge for this build may very well turn out to be the printing part.
The upper right corner of the lower car side in the picture is where it crashed.....
I'm trying again after making a few adjustments to the file....
neat mike i have thought about trying 3d printing but have too many things on the plate right now, boy has been looking into to print passenger car interiors.

Just a quick update:
I'm taking my time with this since I'm designing as I go along.
This is a G, 1:20 scale Yard Cart.
Proto measurements would be approximately 8 ft X 8 Ft
I have yet to try to design & print the front & rear bumpers and also the coupler mount.
Still thinking on the easiest way to do that.
Your 3D printing is another aspect of modeling that I would pursue but I think the learning curve would be beyond my feeble brain power. You make these parts look very professional. I have thought about a laser cutter/engraver now the price is dropping but there too I am afraid of the learning curve.
In the meanwhile I will sit back and enjoy these builds.
Ooh - am excited to see where this is going! I am in the market for a 3d printer myself - so seeing how others are using theirs is quite helpful.
