Thanks guys. I guess I have to accept that my layout is probably going to amount to a bit of an anachronism, as I love all the eras and trains! I was planning on modeling the 50's, but I just can't leave out my Conrail!!
The caboose is a model of a real NS/CSAO caboose, made by Walthers. It is still in stock but has been discontinued. It is available individually, or as a 2 piece set. I bought the 2 piece set, it includes the red caboose and a CSX gray/yellow CR caboose, also based on a real one.
