Pete, I can remember hearing diesels coming for miles (I had the hearing of a 10 year old) and we would hustle to the tracks to see them come by. I can't remember the models of the diesels but I can remember the chant of the 567 engine. It's funny because I was always attracted to trains, but never remember what I saw until I started taking pictures in 1975. I even had an autobody repair shop in the PRR train station in E Liverpool, Ohio from 69 to 72, I watched PC trains out the windows there too. You can never go home again I guess.
