I am told that yesterday was the last time an Amtrak AEM7 turned a wheel in revenue service. From 1980 to 2016, 36 years isn't a bad run. #915 is already at the RR Museum of PA, but I wonder if any of the rebuilt AEM7-ACs will be preserved.
The last 7 or so are the SEPTA AEM7s (they also have the very last single ALP44, a similar model), but SEPTA announced that they are also buying the ACS-64 electrics to replace them.
So, here are my Amtrak AEM7s-
