Great pictures and sad to read about some steam engines.

However great models again - and my 4-8-0 goes its way to digitalizing!



I must reduce a too wide axial play for additional power pickups on the loco.



Unfortunately I could mount only two new pickups where two contact pins glide on inside of wheel rims.



Now the loco runs also without its tender! However all togethere there are 6 wheels on one side and 8 wheels on other side for a constant power pickup also on bad and dirty track.
As a small additional change I replaced many too large screws on the excenters!





I think that this looks definitely better and more realistic with these setscrews, however they are really very small with .05in diameter and .06in length! (In German M1,2 and 1,5 mm length.)
I built five for these needed two screws because three jumped off and nobody has seen them again!
