Yes Josh i wondered about the layout
try and get some Floquil paint like all good stuff isnt available over here though 
i used Bragdons light rust on therev on a still tacky matt varnish try it on dried matt varnish on a scrap piece of track as well the layouts i have seen have the inside rails painted as well and i dont want to mess up the DCC signal for contact does painting the inside rail effect it badly anyone ?
