Removing Glue?

If it is super glue, acetone would work, but it could soften the shell. That's a lot of glue, I think I'd still try to cut it off, even an X-acto knife, but I can see where that would be difficult. One other suggestion would be to grind the tube off to the point where it doesn't interfere. Good luck.
