Clear styrene with grooves made for frames...simple and possibly brilliant. I had heard of inking lines on clear plastic before, but grooving them first makes good sense. I did something similar with simulating glass bricks but wasn't overly happy about how it turned out. I'll be looking forward to your progress, especially the windows.
