Yep. Most model railroaders are arm chair modelers...and many actives clearly prefer to spend an extra $10 to save 10min. Perhaps I'd feel the same way if I were in their shoes.

It usually takes me far longer to get through the current RMCs and Gazettes than MR due to my interest in techniques and craftsman projects rather than the layouts.

I think your custom equipment and rolling stock upgrades would be of interest to the readership, even if it only received drool-based responses.
