the first pic is the new porch in a overview the second pic is it close up and the third is the original one.

I like the middle one better than the bottom one.
Bigger porch looks better on a non-urban building. Room for stuff on top of porch and stuff under porch.
Supports under porch looks like they are placed at a more realistic distance, not so close together.
Handrails for steps end flush with top board/weather board/whatever you call it on railing around porch, so you don't have to lift your hand over the top board of the railing when you come up the stairs holding on to the handrail.
Just looks more natural for me. But building customs might be different in the area you model compared to what I am used to from visits to Minnesota.
