Thanks . I enjoy scratch building a lot , of anything not just locos. I seldom build kits & if I do I never manage to build them the way the maker intended.
Most of my locos are in storage now but I have scratched 4 class C Climax Locos, a K4 Pacific using Mel ThornBurghs articles in the 1949 & 50 issues of MR , A USRA Mikado from Gordon Oderburgs ? series in MR in the late 8O'S , A close copy of a Galloping Goose . I have a WM Shay about 1/2 done & a Heisler the same way.
If I can find some pictures of some of them I'll post them if anyone is interested.
