Layout progress: relaxing & stressed at the same time!
#1
My wife has just left for a trip to her native England for 12 days. So I'm at home looking after our two young sons on my own! Eek

To cope, I'm taking a few days off work so I'll be able to have some personal "down time" as well. As a result, I've been able to expand my small 3x5 (British 00, similar to HO) layout slightly by adding a fiddle yard. It's now basically a 3x6' layout.

So while I'm a little stressed looking after the boys, I'm also trying to relax by having some hours to myself (i.e. when the boys are at school) to work on my layout. It's only times like this when I can get a clear, uninterrupted 3-4 hours of layout work.

Also, the new steam loco, Tornado, is making a guest appearance at the heritage railway near my wife's hometown, so I've asked her to visit it this weekend and take lots of pics (http://www.watercressline.co.uk/).
