I don't really know --- I have always been kind of scared about painting brass , not sure how to get a goood job done --- I'm not really at home with an airbrush . The hobby shop told me an airbrush would do half my work for me ----so I bought TWO of em -- & all they do is SIT there --- Lazy buggers!!

Ok Nachoman --- I guess you have thrown down the gauntlet --- so I made a resolution before the end of JAN--- feb--- March ---- thats it March. Goldth I Will get the loco painted !
I bought a Badger sand blaster yesterday to clean it up & prep it, I'll use baking soda, I think.
I'd guess regular floquil woud be the best fo it , not sure what shade or style of black would be the best for the basic paint. Primer? Gray or red oxide or what?
Bake or just air dry? Thats always been a problem for me with paint or glue.-- can't stand waiting for the stuff to dry---- Shoot look at my signature --- thats why I like solder -- NO drying time!! 35
Instant glue ? ---- SOLDER ---- NOW THATS INSTANT!
