As it turns out, I am going to have to do something with the back door so the back porch has a reason to be. I like Andrew's idea of faking an old door by boarding up where one would be. I will also be boarding up some of the other windows, etc, so it will look good...thanks Andrew!
More progress today, got the floor joists and floor completed and started on the roofing. The roof is pretty meticulous cutting the holes in the card, putting joists in the holes and then shingling around them.
On the second attempt, I think I will just shingle over all the holes, cut out the shingles and THEN put the joists in....
Dr. Wayne, need you advice on how you colored your peel n' stick shingles on you little shanty project, I liked the way they turned out..... :?:
More later as I finish the roof and then tackle the porches.....unfortunately, work progress will slow down as I have to go back to work tomorrow ....going to go film the inside of a flooded ICBM Missle Silo in West Texas for a FOX Cold War documentary.....
